FAQ
-
Is resistance machine training the same as strength training exercises?
Strength and weight training are often synonymous with resistance training. However, resistance machine training refers specifically to isolating muscle groups through many exercises that are structured by the machine. The structure and muscle isolation are great for ensuring correct form, balance and body composition in comparison to free weight resistance training.
-
What are the benefits of resistance training?
Resistance training builds endurance, muscle growth and physical strength. While helping gym-goers lose weight. It also maintains and boosts bone health, blood pressure and metabolism for healthy adults. A big benefit of resistance training is that it's perfect for older adults who start to experience age-related muscle loss. These exercises simulate everyday activities and make them easier to do. Other benefits include targeting body fat and toning throughout your weight loss journey.
-
Are the resistance machines beginner-friendly?
Using resistance machines is an ideal introduction to weight training for beginners. The structure and one-way use of the machines create a safe way to train muscle groups with less risk of injury. The machines often ensure correct form, starting position and process of the exercise. Making the learning curve much less difficult. Having the option to gradually increase weights at your own pace makes it a lower-intensity exercise and more comfortable for a new user.
-
Are resistance machines better than free weights?
While resistance machines isolate muscle groups and allow for more structure of correct form and movement. Free weight training offers less stability but works more muscle groups at once.
