Free weights are versatile, functional workout tools that imitate day-to-day actions. Allowing users to incorporate more natural compound movements into training sets. Free weights can be used in many ways, perfect for building endurance, power and strength, burning calories and toning. Depending on the user's ability, using free weights can be more freeing and beneficial for full-body workouts.
Free weights are safe for beginners as long as you take the time to learn proper techniques and ask for guidance when needed. A good gym ensures that everyone, whether a seasoned athlete or a first-timer, can train safely in the free weights area. It’s important to understand your limits and structure your workouts to focus on learning and improving your skills. Working with a personal trainer or attending weekly classes is a great way to become familiar with free weights. And don’t forget to relax and recharge after your session, perhaps in our Finnish sauna.
Unlike resistance machines, free weights are portable and versatile. While the focus is often on muscle building, free weights can be incorporated into circuits and HIIT. Building muscle, training stamina, endurance and cardio.
Our friendly team is always around the facilities to have a chat, give advice or a quick lowdown on our equipment. For more in-depth explanations and creative ways to use the equipment, you may want a personal trainer to tailor workout programs to suit you.
